Awake, O Thou Sleeping Blog!

This blog has had too much of a summer's nap, and I think it's about time to catch you all up on what's been happening over here in the quiet countrysides of Kentucky... and beyond!  Well, I'll be starting with the beyond, because at the very end of May, I (Joanna) set off on an adventure of a lifetime to visit the amazing state of Tasmania!!!  For anyone with that puzzled look on their face right now, this is an island right under the mainland of Australia.  It is also where my sister Martha, her husband Terry, and their family live!  The trip was a total of 26 days, including travel time, and was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.  The only downside was not having my husband Curtis along with me... I am so grateful to Martha & Terry for allowing me to be a part of their home for the month of June - it was a complete privilege!  And I can't wait to share all about it with you... So stay tuned!
